Since 2008, SIMA has held an approved Part 147 organization according to EASA regulations authorized to provide Type rating courses to helicopter technicians on the helicopters listed in the qualification specification. Initially created as a necessary certification for the internal training of its own technicians, over time the courses have been provided to external personnel, including personnel from state corps.
