Airworthiness management
Airworthiness management
SIMA was approved as EASA Part M in January 2009 and manages the Continuous Airworthiness of private customer helicopters as well as State Corps helicopters.
- The CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization) is currently qualified for the management of AB/B412 series, A109E and S-64F.
- In May 2009, ENAC further granted CAMO the authorization for the airworthiness review (ARC) of helicopters listed in the CAMO certificate.
- The helicopters managed by CAMO SIMA include the S-64F helicopters of the European Air-Crane operators and of Vigili del Fuoco.
- In March 2022, SIMA converted its certification from Part M to Part CAMO.
- For the management of aircraft under CAMO, SIMA uses the latest generation and web based IT systems which allow operators and owners to control their vehicles in real time and from anywhere in the world.
